The "2nd Korea Innovative Safety & Security Expo," held to create and foster a safety industry ecosystem, has concluded its three-day exhibition.

The expo, held at KINTEX in Ilsan from the 16th to the 18th under the theme "Create Together, SAFE KOREA," was evaluated as having raised public interest in safety and presented a vision for the safety industry. The event included exhibitions, hands-on experiences, conferences, and export consultations, covering everything from earthquakes, disaster prevention, and security to transportation and industrial safety.

In particular, side events where visitors could directly experience disaster situations such as earthquake evacuation, disaster prevention, and elevator safety attracted the attention of young visitors. Furthermore, participating companies caught the eye of attendees by introducing various new technologies and products.

◆ OTS, "CCTV Camera Auto-Lift System that Lowers to the Ground"

OTS, a company specializing in CCTV cameras, showcased its auto-lift device applied with its proprietary patented technology at this exhibition. Existing CCTVs located at high outdoor positions incurred high maintenance costs and carried the risk of fall accidents.

However, OTS's product enables swift operations because the CCTV camera detaches from the auto-lift and lowers to the ground at the push of a button by a worker on the ground. Since there is no need for a person to climb a pole or use a high-altitude work vehicle, costs can be saved and fall accidents can be prevented. Moreover, it has the advantage of reducing work time and allowing a single person to perform maintenance that previously required two to three people.

Notably, OTS's auto-lift device can be installed at heights up to 10 meters, with custom orders available for heights up to 30 meters. Designated as an "Excellent Government Supply Product," it has been supplied to KEPCO, K-water, Korea Expressway Corporation, and the City of Daejeon.
