Established by Daejeon MBC in 2005, the event has been co-hosted by Hanwha Group since 2006, establishing itself as a representative public-interest awards ceremony in the region.

The ceremony held on the 21st was attended by the winners' families and distinguished guests, including Daejeon Mayor Lee Jang-woo, Sejong Mayor Choi Min-ho, Hanwha Communications Committee President Kim Shin-yeon, Hanwha Galleria Timeworld Executive Director Kim Young-hoon, Daejeon Superintendent of Education Sul Dong-ho, and Chungnam Superintendent of Education Kim Ji-chul, to congratulate the awardees in each category.
